MAIL CALL!
by Craig Castleberry
Scripture: "This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 3:6
Opening: Janice and Shelly run onto stage and stop at the mailbox. (You will need one) They are racing to see who gets the mail first.
THEME: We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. We should not oppose each other, but instead, build each other up.
Shelly: I'm first!
Janice: No way! I was here first, I get to open the mail!
Shelly: Uh Uh!!! Then NOBODY gets to open it.
Janice: So what do you think is in it?
Shelly: Could it be…mail?
Janice: Funny. Well, it might be mail, but we still don't know what kind.
Shelly: What do you mean?
Janice: Well, it could be a real letter from relatives, or it could be a postcard.
Shelly: Or it could be one of those flier ads with coupons, or another bill which my dad always dreads.
Janice: And even all the mail we get comes in different shapes and sizes.
Shelly: But, there is one thing that they all have in common.
Janice: What?
Shelly: They all have something to say and in so many ways.
Janice: It is kind of like church I think. Our pastor preached on God's Word and how people share Jesus in so many ways.
Shelly: God made us all different for a reason. So we can go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.
Janice: (Looking at the mailbox) Wanna look inside?
Shelly: We'll open it together. (Both holding the mailbox door and opening it)
Janice: It's empty! This must be a Baptist mailbox! But, I don't see any covered dishes.
Shelly: They've left and already beaten the Methodists to the cafeteria.
Janice: Race you back! (Janice runs off stage)
Shelly: Hey, not fair! (Chasing Janice)

Study Guide
Too often we get isolated with our own church body. Do we remember and pray for our church body across the street? Just as much, our brothers and sisters in Christ, who are serving overseas?
